About Alissa

Alissa M. Korwek, Esq. attended the University of Connecticut, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development & Family Studies. She earned a full merit scholarship to Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she obtained a Juris Doctor, cum laude. During law school, she interned at the United States Attorney’s Office, focusing on white collar crimes, and later concentrated on family law, working as a Sappern Fellow in the New Haven Courthouse and as a law clerk at a boutique family law firm. Ms. Korwek served as Vice President of Quinnipiac’s Mock Trial team, earning awards for oral advocacy. She practices primarily in family law, with experience in divorce, child custody, alimony, child support, and post-judgment matters. Ms. Korwek is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.
