Andrew Humphreys, Esq is the Chief Litigation Counsel at Jonna Spilbor Law. Andrew graduated from Hofstra Law School (now known as Maurice A. Deane School of Law) in 1990. He has a B.A. in Communications from the University of Scranton. Andrew handles all aspects of complex civil litigation from inception to trial, including areas of medical and dental malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and Social Security Disability. Andrew’s experience includes representing doctors, nurses, hospitals, and patients in matters of complex litigation involving areas of medical/dental malpractice, as well as personal injury, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, construction site injury, general/premises liability, insurance coverage issues, corporate contracts, and commercial litigation. Andrew has also represented severely impaired claimants at approximately 110 hearings at SSA ODAR offices from Jericho to Syracuse, NY. He has advocated for claimants with complex psychiatric and/or physical disabilities, providing comprehensive preparation for hearings with claimants, analysis, and interpretation of medical and vocational witnesses. Andrew has experience in negotiating and analyzing multi-million dollar contracts, including between a local municipality and cable provider, Verizon.
