Mr. Marter comes from a family of health care providers: Father and Grandfather, general surgeons; Mother, nurse; Father-in-Law, pediatric hematologist; Wife, radiation therapy dosimetrist; Brother, obstetrician/gynecologist; Uncles, orthopedic surgeon and radiologist. As such, Mr. Marter brings very personal understanding, care, and concern to his healthcare provider clients. Mr. Marter has tried dozens of malpractice and personal injury cases in his now almost 30-year career. He practices in the state and federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Marter defends physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other healthcare providers against claims of medical negligence, and he represents providers in licensing matters before the Board of Physicians, Nursing Board, and other professional boards. Mr. Marter also represents client injured in motorcycle, motor vehicle, and trucking accidents.
