Andrew received his undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Superior after graduating from Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua. Andrew graduated summa cum laude as a student athlete at Superior, playing four years of men's college basketball for the UWS Yellowjackets. Andrew received his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School.
