About Angela

Angela Myers was born in Memphis, TN. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Evangel University, where she graduated with honors. In 2002 she received her law degree from University of Memphis, ranked number 2 in her law school class. In 2002, she returned to Springfield, MO and was admitted to practice before Missouri state courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Her legal career has led her down diverse paths, giving her a broad exposure to the practice of law. The first 10 ½ years of her practice was focused on litigating personal injury, medical negligence, wrongful death and products liability. She practiced with the law firm Placzek & Francis, in plaintiffs’ civil litigation. When the opportunity arose, she went to clerk for Judge William W. Francis at the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, Springfield, Missouri. After her time at the Missouri Court of Appeals, Angela began focusing her legal practice in the areas of Elder Law, Probate, Estate Planning and Litigation- including civil litigation and probate litigation. Angela’s primary practice at The Elder Law Group, LLC is in elder law, probate, estate planning, and trust administration work, although her practice spans other areas such as general litigation, probate & trust litigation, personal injury litigation, and small business formation.
