About Arya
Arya Afighom focuses his practice on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims involving automobile accidents, semi-truck collisions, and dangerous premises. Prior to joining, Arya represented hundreds of wildfire victims throughout Southern California, including those affected by the 2017 Thomas Fire in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, the subsequent debris flows in Montecito, and the 2018 Woolsey Fire in Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Mr. Afighom received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School where he was an Associate Editor of the Southwestern Law Review, named the Best Brief Writer for the Intramural Negotiations Competition, and a recipient of the Dean’s List for academic excellence. During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Deirdre H. Hill of the Los Angeles Superior Court and as an extern at the United States Attorney’s Office Tax Division for the Central District of California. Prior to attending law school, he received his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
