About Bernard
Bernard Ilkhanoff graduated from Frostburg State University with a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish. He worked as a Legal Assistant before attending Temple University School of Law. After graduating, he served as an Assistant City Solicitor for Baltimore's Law Department, representing the Baltimore Police Department. In 1999, he co-founded Ilkhanoff & Silverstein, PC. He has been recognized as a 'Rising Star' in litigation by Super Lawyers, won the 2011 Jeremiah Sullivan Black Barrister Award, and was selected as a Susquehanna Valley Select Lawyer for 2014 and 2015 in Criminal Law. He has held various leadership roles in the York County Bar Association, including President in 2016, and is the immediate past President of the Lancaster Bar Association and current President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Conference of County Bar Leaders. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Maryland Associations for Justice and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
