About Bill
Bill Barton is a highly respected plaintiff's litigator with 45 years of experience. He is known for landmark cases, including the first suit against the Boy Scouts of America to go to trial and the first attorney to sue the Vatican for sexual abuse by clergy. He is a published author on psychological injuries and a certified Oregon Trial Courts Judge Pro-Tempore. Bill is active in the professional community, serving on boards, writing, and teaching trial advocacy in 35 states and four countries. He has received numerous peer recognitions and awards, including induction into the Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame and the Oregon State Bar Award of Merit.
