About Bob
A founder of Hill & Rainey, Bob had more than three decades of legal experience, and is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. As a specialist in civil litigation and bankruptcy, Bob took care to walk his clients step by step through the complicated legal process. Bob had a passion for the law and always enjoyed coming up with creative solutions to complex legal problems. He is a great negotiator and generally able to resolve legal disputes outside of the courtroom. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Bob moved to Virginia to attend law school at William & Mary. After graduation, he spent a few years working for a small law firm in Petersburg before starting Hill & Rainey, with his friend and colleague, T.O. Rainey. Outside of work, Bob enjoys spending time with his wife, Shelley, and their two sons and grandchildren. Bob is a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns, which is not only a testament of his hometown pride, but of his unwavering loyalty.
