Cajardo Lindsey is a passionate advocate for justice, giving a voice to his clients. With over 75 trials to verdict, he brings extensive courtroom experience and a deep understanding of the legal system to Dan Caplis Law. His background as a retired District Court judge from Colorado’s 18th Judicial District provides unique insights. Cajardo began his legal career in insurance defense, then served eight impactful years as a prosecutor at the Denver District Attorney’s Office, rising to senior deputy district attorney. He was also a Special U.S. Attorney for the Front Range Drug Task Force, collaborating with the DEA and Colorado law enforcement. He later served as an Assistant City Attorney for Denver, earning respect for his oratory skills, negotiation, and integrity. He transitioned to civil personal injury, achieving six and seven-figure verdicts. Before returning to private practice, Governor Polis appointed him to the bench, where he presided over civil matters. Cajardo graduated with a B.A. in Public Administration from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) and earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law (Bloomington, Indiana). During law school, he clerked for the British Inns of Court (London, England) and the National Football League Management Council (New York City).
