Carey Bhalla is a Mississippi native who started her legal career at the Public Defender's Office in New Mexico in 2006, representing clients in felony cases. She later opened her own firm in 2009, developing a civil rights practice while continuing complex criminal cases. She is admitted to the complex federal criminal panel in New Mexico and focuses on holding governmental agencies accountable.
