About Catherine

Catherine A. Dickinson is the Associate Managing Partner and Co-Chair of the Litigation Department at SBWD Law, handling complex cases in Maryland State and Federal Courts. She specializes in medical malpractice, personal injury, and sexual assault/abuse cases, including the first human trafficking case against a national hotel franchise in Maryland. Catherine is known for her tireless work ethic, tenacity, and creative approach. She is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Baltimore School of Law, teaching Trial Advocacy and co-created a seminar on Sexual Abuse Litigation. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyer, a Leading Woman Under 40 in 2023 by The Daily Record, and named to the Daily Record Power List for Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Law in 2023.
