Catherine Borgnis

Catherine was born and raised on a farm in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a double major in Biology and Philosophy before moving to Boston where she spent seven years as paralegal at an Intellectual Property firm. When Catherine started law school, she envisioned a future in Intellectual Property, but that changed after she joined Maine Law’s Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic and represented a domestic abuse survivor in a Protection from Abuse matter as a student attorney.
