Charles R. McKenney’s practice focuses on criminal, traffic, and juvenile law. Attorney McKenney has represented clients in the criminal and traffic courts for over 20 years. He treats his clients with the utmost respect and is conscious of the anxiety and distress a traffic or criminal matter can cause. Having served as a special public defender in juvenile DCFS decisions for 16 years, he understands the challenges of juvenile law and approaches each case with dedication and discernment. Attorney McKenney is also experienced in civil law, which he practiced alongside criminal law at his own private law office before joining Botto Gilbert Lancaster. Inspired by his father, a prolific criminal law attorney, and his grandfather, a former FBI agent, Mr. McKenney represents his clients with complete dedication and commitment to justice. He understands what is at stake in each case and how critical the outcome is to his clients. Mr. McKenney is a native to Crystal Lake.
