Charles Wesley Durham was born in 1954 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He attended Campbellsville College and Eastern Kentucky University, earning an undergraduate degree with High Distinction in 1979. He obtained a Master's Degree from Western Kentucky University in 1981. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Louisville School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1986, where he was inducted into the Brandeis Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, and received Book Awards in Criminal Law, Basic Tax, Secured Transactions, and Legal Writing. He has been a partner at Miller & Durham since 1987, focusing on personal injury, probate, criminal defense, domestic relations, and civil litigation. He is admitted to practice before all courts of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is actively involved in church and Emmaus ministries.
