Attorney Christopher B. Kleister was born and raised in Washingtonville, New York. He graduated from Washingtonville High School in 1994 and thereafter attended Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York, earning his Bachelors degree in accounting in 1998. He received his juris doctorate from Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York, in 2001, and was admitted to practice law in the State of New York on April 10, 2002. He previously worked in the litigation departments for two large law firms in the Hudson Valley before opening his own practice. Mr. Kleister is currently a member of the Orange County Bar Association and is dedicated to providing his clients with the most effective legal representation. Mr. Kleister sits on the Orange County Assigned Counsel Panel (NYS assigned cases) for Family Law matters as well as Criminal matters. Since Mr. Kleister is a life long resident of Orange County, as well as an active member of his community, he takes the responsibility he is given very seriously. His approach to resolving issues is usually done in the most cost-effective way if possible. His expertise and knowledge stand out above the rest and he knows exactly how to handle each and every case for the best possible outcome. He truly enjoys helping people in and out of the courtroom.
