Christopher Houston Rumfelt is a lifelong resident of McDowell County, an honorably discharged US Air Force veteran, former corrections officer, and former children's services social work supervisor. He graduated from Montreat College with a degree in history and human services, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Charlotte School of Law. He passed the North Carolina Bar Exam in February 2016 and opened his law practice in June 2016. His practice focuses mainly on criminal and family law matters in McDowell and Mitchell Counties, and he is available to assist clients throughout North Carolina.
