Clarissa L. Palermo is an attorney with over 30 years of trial experience. She received her Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University School of Law in 1990 and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Northern Illinois University. Licensed in Illinois since 1990, she served as an Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney, supervising the Seniors and Persons with Disabilities Unit and prosecuting a wide range of criminal cases from misdemeanors to murder. She has also taught Continuing Legal Education courses on elder abuse and mental health issues and trained law enforcement. She was awarded the Delta Theta Phi Scholarship.
