About Claud
Claud R. Wheatly, III “Rob” is the third generation of his family to practice law in Carteret County. He graduated from The Citadel in 1969 and the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1972. He served in the U.S. Army obtaining the rank of Captain. He began practicing law in 1972 with his father, engaging in a general practice. He has served as the town attorney for the Town of Beaufort and the county attorney for Carteret County. He specializes in real property, estate planning, business, corporate, environmental law and a civil trial practice in all State and Federal Courts.
