About Colden

Colden R. Battey, Jr. has practiced law at Harvey and Battey for 59 years, serving as a partner for 57 years. He was awarded the Order of the Palmetto in 2024, South Carolina’s highest civilian honor, for a lifetime of extraordinary achievement and public service. He earned his LL.B. magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1963 and his B.S. from the University of Georgia in 1956.
