Croom Hunter is an attorney with Gaston, Marion, Stubbs, Hunter & Swancy P.A. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of South Carolina and his law degree from the Charleston School of Law. He previously served as an Assistant Attorney General for South Carolina, handling post-conviction relief cases and direct criminal appeals. He also served as an Assistant Solicitor for the Sixth Circuit Solicitor’s Office, prosecuting misdemeanors and felonies. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced construction law and professional malpractice. He has also served on the Planning Commission and as the Zoning Administrator for the Town of Ridgeway, South Carolina.
