Dana Van Gent

About Dana

Dana Van Gent grew up in Sheldon, Iowa, and graduated from Central College in 2015. She went on to attend Drake University Law School where she served as the Executive Editor of the Drake Law Review and graduated with high honors in May of 2019. After law school, Dana began her career as a full-time attorney at Kreykes & Chaplin, PLC. Her practice focuses upon real estate, estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, guardianships/conservatorships, business transactions, corporations and limited liability companies. Dana and her husband, Kris Van Gent, own Iowa Bike Co., the local bike shop in Pella, Iowa, and love being a part of such a thriving community. She is involved with local bike advocacy and assists numerous local nonprofits with legal advice and grant writing. In her free time, you’ll find Dana enjoying a good book at the local coffee shop, riding a tandem bicycle or cruising on a motorcycle with her husband, and planning her next trip.
