About Daniel
Dan is a partner of the law firm Sutton & Smyth, LLP. The son of Irish immigrants, he founded the firm with the mission of obtaining compensation for accident victims. His meticulous and thorough approach to each case coupled with his top-notch negotiation abilities enables him to maximize monetary awards for his clients. He is also a gifted courtroom advocate who has tried numerous cases to verdict. Prior to founding the firm, Dan was a trial attorney for a national insurance carrier. He leverages his knowledge of the inner workings of insurance companies in both his case preparation and negotiations. He is aware of the many tricks and loopholes that insurance companies attempt to use to deny accident victims the compensation they deserve. Dan is also a staunch supporter of unions and is proud to fight for compensation for injured union workers. Before law school, Dan was a doorman and member of SEIU 32BJ. His father is a retired member of the New York City District Council of Carpenters Local 157.
