David B. Sholem joined Meyer Capel in 1978 and was named as a shareholder of the firm in 1982. He has represented a number of real estate developers and investors, including real estate investment trusts, institutional investors and real estate asset managers for institutional investors in many asset classes, including multifamily, commercial and agricultural real estate. David Sholem also has significant experience in a variety of business transactional issues including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing transactions, and asset purchase and sale transactions. His clients include start-up technology companies which have commercialized technology developed at and licensed from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
