David H. Tripp was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan in 1952, graduated from Hastings High School in 1970, graduated from Michigan State University June 7, 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. He received his Juris Doctor degree on June 9, 1978 from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan November 9, 1978 and has practiced in Hastings, Michigan ever since.
