About David
David M. Paris is a Principal and Senior Litigation Partner at Piro, Zinna, Cifelli, Paris & Genitempo, supervising the firm's litigation section. He is a certified Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court. Since joining the firm in 1979, he has specialized in medical malpractice, products liability, professional negligence, and general liability cases with substantial damages, as well as complex commercial and estate litigation. He is listed on the Superior Court of New Jersey's Roster of Mediators. He has spoken at national conventions of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners on medical malpractice litigation. In the public sector, he served as Municipal Attorney for the Township of Fairfield (13 years) and the Borough of North Caldwell (15 years). He performs employment practice investigations and has served as a hearing officer for public entity employee disciplinary matters. He was elected Councilman in North Caldwell (2001, re-elected 2004) and served as Council President for four years. He was named a Diplomat in Local Government Law by Rutgers University and the New Jersey Institute of Municipal Attorneys in 2004. He is admitted to the Bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and various U.S. federal courts. He has served on the New Jersey Supreme Court's District Ethics and Fee Arbitration Committees.
