About Dawn

Dawn’s practice includes traditional labor and employment law, civil rights matters, real-estate transactions, estate planning, consumer issues, landlord and tenant matters, and unemployment compensation. Dawn has successfully handled cases before the NLRB, SERB, OCRC/EEOC and represented clients in arbitrations and audits before the DOL. Dawn has tried multiple cases in both state and federal courts and has successfully defended injunctions and restraining orders. Dawn has conducted training for employers and thousands of workers on their rights and responsibilities under FMLA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, ADA, FLSA, and corresponding state laws. Dawn also has extensive experience administering legal-services plans, having served for over ten years as the lead attorney for over 30 group legal service plans, including the Teamsters LDF. Dawn was featured on 13 ABC’s Ask the Expert for over four years and has served our community on various non-profit boards.
