About Deborah
Deborah Truitt, a native of Washington D.C., earned her B.A. with general and departmental honors, Phi Kappa Phi, from the University of Maryland, College Park. She received her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 1996. Ms. Truitt was awarded a CALI Award in State Constitutional Law and possesses extensive experience in Family Law, Personal Injury Law, Criminal Law, and Juvenile Law. She has served as a guardian ad litem in multiple Washington counties and was a founding board member of the Volunteer Lawyers Program of Island County. She is also a court-approved mediator for Island County.
