About Debra
Debra Potter Klauber is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Haliczer Pettis & Schwamm. As head of the Appellate Practice, Debbie collaborates with HPS trial counsel on strategic issues, conducts extensive research and prepares complex motions throughout the litigation and in preparation for trial. She also handles all interlocutory and final appeals throughout the state. Further, she serves as the firm’s in-house resource on the latest legal developments, providing ongoing updates on significant or noteworthy decisions in the state and federal courts. Debbie is the author of the column “Case Law Update,” published by the Broward County Bar Association’s Barrister magazine. Her column reports on notable case and trial trends throughout Florida. Due to the depth of her expertise, Debbie also provides in-house presentations to clients and in-house counsel on legal issues relating to expert witnesses, litigation strategies and the benefits of trial support.
