Donald Galine, who died in 2010, was a personal injury litigator who fought for the disadvantaged for over 30 years. He was active in the Consumer Attorneys of California, serving as Treasurer, Vice President, and Governor Emeritus, and was past President of the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers association. He received numerous awards, including the Trench Soldier Award, Hero Award, Presidential Award of Merit, and the Marvin E. Lewis award, and was voted Trial Lawyer of the Year. He successfully won over 200 verdicts for injured clients.
