About Douglas
Attorney Douglas Walker is a graduate of Munster High School (Class of 1988) where he excelled in the classroom as well as athletics having received the Shearard Scholastic Award. Attorney Walker went on to attend Valparaiso University (Class of 1992) obtaining a degree in Accounting and thereafter successfully completed the rigorous CPA exam which he currently maintains in the State of Indiana as a Certified Public Accountant. In 1994, Attorney Walker returned to Valparaiso to attend the Valparaiso University School of Law, where he became a member of the University’s prestigious Law Review as a Note Editor and Moot Court Society resulting in appellate arguments in competitions involving issues such as trademark protection and harassment in the workplace. Attorney Walker also served as Law Clerk in the Lake Superior Court. Upon receiving his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University in 1997, Attorney Walker worked as a tax consultant for Price Waterhouse LLP, in Chicago.
