Dr. Michael Giordano is the 'doctor part' of The Doctor Lawyer Team, an attorney admitted to the Connecticut Bar, and a board-certified neurosurgeon. He functions as the firm's internal physician/surgeon expert, providing medical and legal insight for medical malpractice claims. Dr. Giordano holds a BS from Columbia University, MD from New York University, MBA from Yale, and JD from UCONN Law School. He previously had an active surgical practice and co-founded a medical device company. He has testified as an expert in state and federal courts and served over 28 years in the U.S. Navy, achieving the rank of Captain, including service as a neurosurgeon in OIF and Afghanistan. He performs Independent Medical Evaluations and advises the firm on medical negligence claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act.
