Drew Parma

Drew Parma was born and raised in Galveston, Texas. He majored in journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation in 1985, he worked as a reporter, first at United Press International in Austin and then at the Waco Tribune-Herald. In 1993 he enrolled at the University of Texas School of Law, where he interned at the Texas Supreme Court; after graduation, he spent a total of five years with the Fourth (San Antonio) and Fourteenth (Houston) Courts of Appeals.
