Duncan Reid

Duncan Reid graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1970 and from the University of Richmond Law School in 1975. After being admitted to the Bar in 1975, he was in a general private practice through 1976. In 1977, Duncan Reid started a thirty-five-year career with the Henrico County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. He served as the Chief Deputy the last eighteen of those years. While at the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office, he tried hundreds of jury trials, including multiple capital murder trials, the Piper Rountree case, and the first case in Henrico involving DNA.
