From Hondo, Texas, Ed Chapa is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) with a B.S. in Education and St. Mary's University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. Admitted to the State Bar in 1990. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Corpus Christi Bar Association. His primary areas of practice are personal injury, family law, criminal law, probate and general civil litigation.
