Edmond W. Foley, co-founder of Foley & Murphy, grew up in South Bend, Indiana, attending St. Joseph High School and the University of Notre Dame for his accounting and law degrees. He began his career in accounting with Touche Ross in Chicago, then worked in insurance defense before returning to South Bend. In 1995, he co-established Foley & Small (now Foley & Murphy) with Doug Small, driven by a desire to advocate for those harmed by negligence.
