Edward Marcowitz is the founding partner of The Marcowitz Law Firm, PLLC, specializing exclusively in personal injury law. He graduated with a B.S. from St. John's University in 1988 and a J.D. from Touro College’s Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1991. With over three decades of experience, he launched his own practice in 2012. Marcowitz is renowned for his extensive work with the September 11 Victims Compensation Fund (VCF), having spearheaded pro bono efforts that recovered $280 million for 9/11 widows and firefighters, and secured $1.9 million for a sanitation worker's family. He also played a crucial role in lobbying for the re-opening of the VCF through the Zadroga Act and serves as the personal attorney to the family of Detective James Zadroga. His expertise extends to catastrophic injury cases, including those involving motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, and toxic exposures.
