About Ellen
Ellen Thorn graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1980 with distinction and from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1984, finishing in the top 15% of her class. She practiced as an Assistant State Public Defender for over six years before co-founding Arndt, Buswell & Thorn in 1991. Her practice focuses on family law (including guardian ad litem work and mediation) and social security disability. She has taught for UW Law School and lectured for UW Extension, the State Public Defender’s Office, and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
