Emerson Arellano was born in Fort Hood/Killeen, Texas, and raised in Brownsville. He graduated from James Pace High School in the top 10% of his class. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin in 2004 and a Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 2008.
