About Emily
Emily Chumas practices medical malpractice and personal injury law, focusing on complex medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice, and elder abuse cases. She has contributed to significant settlements, including a $1.2 million wrongful death action. Prior to the firm, Emily was a legal research clerk for the Connecticut Judicial Branch and Assistant General Counsel at a cancer hospital. She earned her bachelor’s degree from New York University and her JD, summa cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law with a Health Law concentration. Emily is admitted to the Connecticut State Bar and the US Court of Federal Claims, and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
