About Emily
Emily Jolley Seckel is an Alabama native and a 2015 graduate of the Birmingham School of Law. She works alongside Paul at Guntersville Law, LLC, providing legal services with excellent customer service and expedient resolutions. Prior to law, she worked for twenty years as an educator, serving as a general education teacher, special education teacher, assistant principal, principal, and IEP Coordinator, and as a consultant and expert witness for special education litigation. She earned her bachelor's degree from Auburn University in secondary education, her master's degree in educational leadership from the University of South Alabama, and her educational specialist degree in special education from Jacksonville State University. Emily has been a presenter at national, state, and school district-wide workshops on meeting the individual needs of students and special education law. She is the President of Exceptional Aggies Cafe and filed the 501(c)3 for them and Not Alone. She is a happy mother of two beautiful daughters and has a passion for teaching, working part-time to fulfill her teaching responsibilities.
