About Emily
Emily joined the firm in 2013 where she’s worked primarily in the healthcare law section of the firm. Since the implementation of the Official Connecticut Fee Schedule for Hospitals and Ambulatory Surgical Centers in 2015, Emily has represented hospital clients at numerous hearings before the Workers’ Compensation Commission relating to the issue of the correct reimbursement of hospital bills. Before joining the firm, Attorney Casey worked as a consultant for Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Homeland Security (ICE/HSI) in connection with a criminal investigation involving a suspected illicit antiquities dealer. From 2004 to 2009, she was a contract archaeologist and worked as a crew chief for a cultural resource management firm. She was named Partner of the firm in 2021. Attorney Casey now represents numerous hospitals and medical providers on revenue recovery and workers’ compensation issues.
