About Emily

Emily Strak is a U.S. Navy veteran and experienced trial attorney, driven by a commitment to individuals and families impacted by negligence. Before joining Smith Law Center, she defended major insurance companies, gaining insight into claims handling. Today, she represents injury victims across Virginia in cases involving motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse. She is licensed to practice law in all Virginia state courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.
