Francis C. Burns

After graduating from the University of Michigan School of Law 1948, Francis C. Burns practiced in Sisseton and Milbank before moving to Watertown and partnering with Edward P. Gribbon as Gribbon and Burns. Eventually they were joined by Allen J. Eide, changing their name to Gribbon, Burns, and Eide. In 1980, Thomas F. Burns, having also graduated from the University of Michigan School of Law the year before, joined the South Dakota Bar and his father's firm.
