About Garrett

Garrett Emerson's mantra is 'Fighting with everything I’ve got, no matter the situation,' believing in hard work and good values in his advocacy. He grew up in the Texas Hill Country, appreciating family, land, and diversity. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Texas A&M University in 2012 and his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. As a second-generation criminal defense attorney, he learned from his father, a former county attorney and District Judge, to zealously advocate for clients with respect. He has represented clients in juvenile cases, class C misdemeanor tickets, and first-degree felonies, both in criminal defense and as a former prosecutor. In his free time, he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys working on cars.
