About Gary
Gary L. Shockey was born in Casper, Wyoming in 1950. He graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1969 and Yale University in 1973 with honors, earning dual degrees in Political Science and Sociology. He then graduated from the University of Wyoming law school in 1976. He started his legal career as an assistant public defender and later joined The Spence Law Firm in 1978, becoming a partner in 1982. He now practices on his own. He has served on numerous civic boards and groups.
