George McCranie IV is a nationally recognized author of three #1 bestselling books, 'Protect & Defend' (2012), 'The Authority on DUI Defense' (2013), and 'Your Path to Freedom' (2015). He has appeared on major television networks including ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, and CW affiliates, and has been featured in USA Today. He won an 'EXPY' award in 2014 and produced the Emmy and Telly Award-winning documentary 'Mi Casa Hogar'. A former Assistant District Attorney in the Alapaha Judicial Circuit, he is a member of the National College of DUI Defense and the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia, and a former member of the Georgia Bar Association’s Board of Governors. He is also NHSTA trained in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests as a Practitioner and Instructor, and has completed Advanced Roadside Impaired Enforcement training.
