About Greg

Greg Greer is a senior trial counsel with over thirty years of experience in criminal defense. He has represented clients with every level of criminal charge, from DUIs to First Degree Murder, and has a reputation for tireless, aggressive commitment to his clients. He became a Deputy State Public Defender in 1982 and headed the Glenwood Springs Regional Public Defender’s office from 1987. In 2003, he exposed prosecutorial misconduct, leading to relief for many arrested individuals. He is also an instructor for Continuing Legal Education courses on trial tactics, plea negotiations, and client representation.
