Gregory A. Yates, Michael's mentor, serves in an 'Of Counsel' and Advisory relationship with the firm. He graduated from the University of South Dakota school of law in 1972. He has been recognized for his skills as a trial attorney, involved in high-profile litigation, including recovering over $100,000,000 for South Dakota and other tribes, and representing 60 individuals in the 'Rampart Scandal' against the Los Angeles Police Department. He has also been successful in motor vehicle defect, product liability, and over 100 traumatic brain injury cases.
