About Hal

Hal D. Friedman is a partner and founding member of Cooper & Friedman, PLLC, and a Louisville native. He graduated from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 1992. He was the youngest attorney to be offered partnership status at Morgan & Pottinger, P.S.C. before co-founding Cooper & Friedman in 2003. Mr. Friedman has over 30 years of experience in civil litigation, including catastrophic injury, civil rights, and consumer protection cases, and has secured a jury record verdict in Kentucky for a police beating case. He is a life member of the Million Dollar Advocate’s Forum and has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers. He is a regular speaker and author for legal publications and bar associations.
